You Had Me at Hello Speech Pathology’s fees are as per the NDIS pricing arrangements with all billable services charged at $193.99 per hour.
From July 1 2025, travel charges will be charged at 50% of this rate ($96.99) per hour.
I am able to accept payment from:
Private funds (paying out of pocket)
NDIS Plan funds from self-managed and plan-managed participants
(please note, I am not able to accept funds from NDIA-managed participants)Medicare CDM
(Chronic Disease Management Plan - sometimes referred to as a ‘GP Care Plan’ or an ‘Enhanced Primary Care (EPC)’ plan - typically 5 Medicare rebated sessions organised through your GP)Private health insurance with extras covering Speech Pathology services
Payment is generally expected on the day of services, or within 7 days. If I am meeting with you in person, I have a tap & go card payment facility available for your convenience. If I am meeting with you online, I will invoice you directly after the session via email - you’ll be provided a link to paying online by your preferred payment method.
Billable services include:
Face-to-face therapy time
(in-person or online)Session frequency (e.g., weekly, fortnightly, monthly) and duration (e.g., 1 hour) will be openly discussed and decided upon with you based upon results from my clinical assessment and evidence-based practice recommendations in line with the goals chosen as therapy targets.
Administrative non face-to-face tasks
Billable administrative tasks include but are not limited to:
Documentation
Writing detailed notes to summarise the therapy appointment.Report writing
The expected billing time any reports you request will be quoted to you and agreed upon by yourself (& communicated to me in writing) prior to my writing them. Completed reports will only be provided to you once payment is received, and any reasonable amendments/alterations/additions you request will be completed free of further charges.Care-related communications over 10 minutes in duration
For example: emails to school teachers, phone calls with other therapists, care team meetings.Travel time to the location of the therapy appointment
I am located in Ivanhoe, Melbourne, Victoria.
Regardless of distance, the maximum travel charge to your agreed upon appointment location is 30 minutes.
From July 1, as per NDIS guidelines, my last face-to-face client of the day will be charged return travel back to my home office, again with 30 minutes being the maximum amount charged regardless of distance.
Please note that some schools/kindergartens/childcares do not allow visitation from external therapists.
Please check with your intended centre location that they accept therapist visitation prior to considering this as an option for our appointments.
