Services

Assessment

I can administer comprehensive formal speech & language assessments to investigate any communication concerns. These can be accompanied by a detailed report complete with recommendations, or the results simply summarised for you in a brief letter. Many Speech Pathology assessments can be conducted online via Telehealth if needed or preferred.

Reports

I can write a wide range of reports you might require regarding communication concerns. This might include things like a language assessment report for a paediatrician or an NDIS Plan Review report for an upcoming NDIS Plan Review meeting, and so forth. All report requests require a detailed discussion with myself so that I can quote you an accurate figure of the time it will take to complete. Some reports may only take an hour to write; some may take up to three or four hours - it all depends upon your needs, the amount of assessment data or progress material being interpreted/reported upon, the complexity of the results, and the level of detail required depending on who the report is going to be read by.

In-Person Therapy

Depending on your therapy goals, there is excellent research evidence around services provided online proving just as effective as in person. Telehealth services provide flexibility and convenience, and most of the time I will be able to switch any appointments that were scheduled to be conducted in-person to meeting online for whatever reason (e.g., illness in the household).

A location that’s convenient for you can be arranged to provide Speech Pathology therapy in-person. This might be your home, university, school, kindergarten, childcare, or even a public park if the weather is nice!

Capacity Building

I can provide collaborative support and training to build the capacity of members of your support team. This might include things like having me conduct phone calls or present professional development training to educators about certain conditions and recommended support strategies.

Attending in-person or online meetings with your support team. This might include meeting with teachers, and/or other allied health therapists (e.g., Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist) who are involved in supporting you. These are critical to providing holistic care.
